With a 50K investment, Ryan Begelman and his partners bootstrapped Bisnow Media, an email newsletter and conference business, to over 7M in annual profit and exited for over $50M. He’s also the cofounder of Summit. Called Davos for Gen Y by Forbes, Summit gathers leaders across all disciplines including Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, Martha Stewart, Grey’s Anatomy exec producer Shonda Rhimes, Al Gore, Brene Brown, and Netflix’s Reed Hastings.

In 2012, Summit joint ventured to acquire America’s largest ski resort by skiable acreage, Powder Mountain, where they’re building a master planned development. Ryan is also an early investor in start ups like Uber, Warby Parker, and CoinBase. Today, he’s on the hunt for small companies to acquire.
